 Tuesday, February 27th, 2024 AGENDA: 1. Science Fair - In-class presentations tomorrow! Everyone must be prepared to present, even if you don't end up presenting until Thursday.  2. Math - "Perimeter Formulas" (due Thursday). 3. Pink Shirt Day (tomorrow) - please remember to wear PINK to show your support for anti-bullying...  4. Skating: Permission Forms (overdue)... Please return ASAP as we are going this Thursday.

All students must be prepared to present on Wednesday, meaning all projects will need to be completed by then. 3. Skating this Thursday. Please remember to return permission slips by tomorrow. 4.  Thursday, February 15th, 2024 AGENDA: 1. Math: Test tomorrow (Angles and Polygons). You will want to study: -estimating/measuring/classifying angles (right, acute, obtuse,...) -regular/irregular -congruent/similar -classifying triangles by sides (equilateral/isosceles/scalene) -classifying triangles by angles (acute,obtuse,right) 2.  Science Fair - (Procedure/Variables) due this week. Make sure you have corrected your research and hypotheses, if Mr. Hine has indicated you need to do so.

 Wednesday, February 14th, 2024 AGENDA: 1. Math: "Classifying Triangles" due tomorrow. 2. Math: Test on Friday (Angles, classifying polygons) 3. Science: This week we are focusing on Procedure, Variables, and some of you may also be ready to conduct your experiment as well. 

 Friday, February 9th,  2024 AGENDA: 1. Science Fair - At this point, students should have typed up their (Question/hypothesis, research, and materials). Next week we will type up our procedure and variables. Students should look into gathering all materials needed for their experiments this weekend, if necessary.  2. Skiing/Snowshoeing (Monday): -remember to dress for the weather (snowpants/jacket, toque and gloves).  -fill your water bottles - they do not have drinkable water on site, so don't forget to fill/bring your water bottles before we leave.  -we will be leaving in the am and returning by the end of the day, so please be on time.

"Candygrams" - tomorrow is the last day to bring in, if interested.

Field Trips - permission forms due Mon (blue form), and Tues (green form).  4. Candygrams - Information sent home today. $1.00 per candygram. Can purchase up to two candygrams per student.
