 Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 AGENDA: 1. Poetry - Reversal Poem. Don't forget to re-write (or print/paste) your other poems into your poetry book! We've done 7 styles of poetry so far (Acrostic, Limerick, Concrete, Diamante, Found, Haiku, and Reversal).  2. Novel Study - Section 4 (Character/Setting/Plot). You should be striving to have at least 1 activity completed this week.  3. District Track Meet - Congrats to everyone who participated in the Zone track meet on Tuesday. For students who qualified for the Districts, the 1200m will be next Tues, May 28th , and the actual District Track meet is on Thurs, May 30th . 4. Band (Gr.6) - Tomorrow, there will be another session for gr.6 students who have signed up to do band next year. Please remember to bring your instruments.

Please remember to return your permission forms as soon as possible!  4. Math: "Equivalent Ratios" due tomorrow 5. Novel Study - Journal #3 due Thurs.  6. No school Friday (Pro-D) and Mon (Victoria Day).

Track and Field - Reminder that tomorrow is the Distance-Track portion of our school meet. Please remember to dress appropriately and bring a water bottle. We will be outside most of the morning.

 Thurs, May 2nd, 2024 AGENDA: 1. Spelling (week 23) due tomorrow 2. Math: Comparing Fractions Using Equivalent Fractions (due Monday) 3. Math: Fractions Test on Tuesday! 4. Track and Field: Triple Jump Tomorrow - results will count as part of school track meet.  5. Wrinkle in Time tomorrow - If you ordered hot lunch, please remember to pack an extra large snack in case hot lunch does not arrive before we leave to the show.

 Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 AGENDA: 1. Novel Study (section 3) - Journal Entry #1 due Friday 2. Wrinkle in Time - Still 3 people who have not returned their permission forms. Remember that we are going this Friday afternoon. 4. NHL Playoff Pool - Remember to bring in a chocolate bar if you are still wanting to participate. The deadline has been extended to this Friday. All teams who have not brought in their choc. bar before Friday will have their teams deleted.
