Wednesday, October 30th, 2024 AGENDA: 1. Math: "Expanded Form" due Friday (HW Check) 2. Socials: USA Election Questions and Map Assignment due Tues, Nov 5th... 3. Halloween: (RULES) -can wear your costume (No mask, weapons, ect) if you like. -Halloween dance: (Afternoon) -food bank donation (ex: can of soup, kraft dinner, etc...) -$5 (max) for concession if you desire.

Tues, Oct 29th Agenda

 Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 AGENDA: 1. Novel Study - Quiz tomorrow (Ch.7/8/9) 2. Socials: USA Election Questions and Map Assignment due Tues, Nov 5th... 3. Book Fair: Class time tomorrow (pm) for those who have money to buy only!  4. Halloween Thurs: (RULES) -can wear your costume (No mask, weapons, ect) if you like. -Halloween dance (gr.4-7 only) in the afternoon. Students may attend the dance OR stay in the class and watch a Halloween movie. (You must choose one or the other)... -Halloween candy: Mr. Hine has a "teacher tax" system, so if you bring candy, Mr. Hine is entitled to half of whatever you bring in. Ex. If you want to enjoy a couple treats, bring four (Mr. Hine gets two). If you fail to adhere to the teacher tax policy, Mr. Hine will confiscate all candy henceforth. Mr. Hine also enjoys coffee crisp, snickers, kit kat :)

 Monday, October 28th, 2024 AGENDA: 1. Spelling (week 8) 2. Math: "Place Value" due tomorrow (HW Check) 3. Science - Board Games (inc. rules/game pieces) due Friday 4. Bake Sale in Mrs. Kopper's Class tomorrow at lunch... 5. Book Fair - Students are able to buy items either at lunch/after school. Our class is also signed up for a time on Wednesday, where students who bring money may go and purchase items during class time.

Socials - BC Election Research (due Friday) -choose a party, tell me the party's leader and local candidate, research at least 2 important issues that are important to YOU, and describe how your party will address those issues 3. Lion's Club Gr.6 Vision Screening. Information sent home today. Please only return if you do NOT want your child to participate. The screening is on Wed, Nov 15th. 4. Run tomorrow afternoon. Weather-permitting, we will be going for another run tomorrow afternoon (after lunch). Please ensure you have proper footwear and are dressed appropriately to be outside :) 5. Library Day tomorrow!
