Novel Study: (suggested goals for the end of this week)      -read to at least half-way point of your novel by end of this week      -Vocab Activity: Choose 15 words/write definitions      -Journal #1: Answer at least 5 questions related to the beginning chapters of                                         your book.

Novel Study: Section 2 (Vocab) activity is due this Friday! Make sure Mr. Hine knows what novel you are reading and you should set a goal of reading at least the first quarter of your novel by the end of this week.  4. Writing: "Super hero" Paragaph and Illustrations due Friday (MUST DO!)

Our theme is "Sports," which is quite broad.  Some suggested items could include: Sports equipment (basketball, mini-sticks, badminton set, soccer ball, golf balls, frisbee, pump and extra needles?), Gift Card to Sportchek/Candian Tire, etc..  Anything sports-related is welcome. Please consider that these items should be able to fit into a basket (no full size hockey sticks/bats!) Deadline to bring in items is April 18th...
