Fri, April 29th Agenda

 Friday, April 29th, 2022 AGENDA: 1. Novel Study - If you are still behind, please make sure to work on at home. Read/finish the novel. We should all be working on Section 4 at this point. 2. Poetry - Don't forget about the good copies for your poetry booklets. We have learned 6 poetry styles so far (Acrostic, Limerick, Concrete, Diamante, Found, and Haiku) 3. Have a nice weekend everyone :)

Fri, April 22nd Agenda

 Friday, April 22nd, 2022 AGENDA: 1. Socials: Timelines - (due next Fri, April 29th) 2. Math: "Fraction Number Lines" Question #1 (due Tuesday) 3. Novel Study: You should be completed at least 2 journal entries/ nearly finished your novel / ready to begin working on "Section 4" next week.

Thurs, April 21st Agenda

 Thursday, April 21st, 2022 AGENDA: 1.Spelling (week 24) due tomorrow 2. Novel Study - By the end of the week, you should have completed at least 2 journal entries, and be finished your novel. 3. "Change for Ukraine" - Please try and bring a toonie (or some spare change) to donate to a very worthwhile cause. All proceeds go directly to helping people of Ukraine purchase essential supplies. Ms. Clarke's gr.7's will be collecting donations in the library at the beginning of the school day each day until the end of the week.  4.  Monday, April 11th, 2022 AGENDA: 1. Spelling (week 23) due Thursday 2. Novel Study = Vocab Activity (due Thurs) 3. Poetry = Good Copies of Acrostic/Limericks from last week -Remember: Your "good copy" should be neat, include a title, and an illustration/drawing  -We will be learning 2 more poetry styles this week!

Wed, April 6th Agenda

 Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 AGENDA: 1. Poetry = Remember we have learned 2 poems this week (Acrostic/Limerick) *You must have at least 2 rough copies of each completed in your writing books 2. Poetry = Book Covers (due Friday) *Book covers need to include your name and "Poetry" in title. Make sure to glue your cover onto a folded green piece of construction paper and hand-in to Mr. Hine so that it can be laminated. 3. Novel Study = Reminder that you should be continuing to read your novel. Section 2 (Vocab) is due next Thursday, April 14th. 4. Math: Geometry City-Maps are due this Friday!
