Reminder that we have PE tomorrow, to make up for Monday. Please remember to have your proper shoes and attire. 4. Hatchet - Today we read ch.2 . 

 Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 AGENDA: 1. Spelling (week 2) due Friday. Please study a few minutes each night.   2. "Ideal" Classroom - map and paragraph description are both due this Friday.  3. PE - reminder that we will have PE tomorrow, but also again on Friday this week. Please remember to bring your gym shoes/attire.   4. Hatchet - Ch.1 Questions (4) are due tomorrow!

 Thursday, September 17th, 2026 AGENDA: 1. Spelling (wk.1) test tomorrow! Reminder to finish/hand in your spelling package to earn a ticket in the "ticket draw" at the end of the week. 2. Terry Fox Maps/10 Facts - due tomorrow (Must do) 3. Verification forms. Thanks to all who have remembered to have returned these already. These forms need to be signed and returned to the office as soon as you can please.

 Tuesday, September 15th, 2026 AGENDA: 1. Spelling (week 1). There will be a quiz on Friday, and there is a work package that is also due on Friday as well.  2. Art - Name tags and puzzle pieces are due as soon as possible!  3. Terry Fox Maps - These are going to be due on Friday. 4. Verification Forms (package) - sent home today. Please make sure these are all signed/returned to the office as soon as possible.

Spelling (week 35) Last test tomorrow. this week's words are: (despondent, flabbergasted, implore, magnitude, dishearten, and hilarious)   2.  Socials - Greatest Canadian Presentations (tomorrow). T 3. Great Canadian Wax museum will be on Monday, June 15th. Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend. Weather permitting, it will be held outside in the area by the portables 10:45-12:10pm...

Tuesday, May 19th, 2026  AGENDA: 1. Spelling (week 32). Our weekly test will be on Thursday. The words this week are: (addict, competent, contrast, devious, antagonize, and component). 2. Math: Intro to Coordinate Systems due tomorrow (HW Check)  3. Stopmotion : Tomorrow is our last day this week to work on your videos. Please remember to have your materials, props at school so you and your group can film!  4. Zone Track Day - This Friday.   

 Wednesday, May 13th, 2026 AGENDA: 1. Math - "Formulas for Linear Relations" (due tomorrow) 2. Novel Study - Journal Entries 1-3 (overdue) 3. Stopmotion - only 3 work periods left. Next Tuesday we will be working on them again. Don't forget to have all of your materials at school on this day so your group can film!  4. TRU Career Day: (Gr.7’s) - reminder that all gr7’s are on a field trip to TRU with Mr.G tomorrow. Gr.6’s will be staying at the school with Mr. Hine.   

 Monday, May 11th, 2026 AGENDA: 1. Novel Study - All Journal Entries are now overdue! All students should be finished reading their novels and starting Section 4 (Setting/Character/Plot). 2. Stopmotion: 2 blocks this week (Tues/Wed) in the morning. Please remember to have all of your materials (props/figures) at school so your group can do your filming!  3. Zone Distance (1200m) this Wednesday. Please remember to bring your permission slips to the office.   4. Gr.7 Field Trip this Thursday (Career Day @ TRU). There are still several students who need to remember their permission slips! NOTE: because of the short week (Track Day/Pro-D) there will be no spelling test this week...

Field Trip: "I am Frankenstein" is tomorrow.  3. Stopmotion - Next week we our 2 work periods are Monday and Tuesday. Please ensure you have your materials (props, figures) at the school that day so your group can film. We only have 5 more class periods to finish this project, which includes editing. 4. Track and Field - reminder that our school track day for gr.6/7 students is next Monday, May 11th. Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather and bring a hat/water bottle, etc.

Field Trip - "Frankenstein Play" This Friday. Please remember to bring in your permission slip tomorrow! 3. Novel Study - Journal Entry #3 (Final Chapters of novel) due this Friday.  4. Stopmotion: Tomorrow morning (and Thurs afternoon) we will be using class time to work on filming your stopmotion videos. Please make sure you and your group have all of your materials!!!

Gr. 7 Career Day Permission Forms - please return no later than May 12th.  3. Field Trip: "I am Frankenstein." Permission slips sent home today. Parent Volunteers are welcome - please contact Mr. Hine, if interested. The show is a morning performance by SKSS Drama students.  4. Track and Field - Next Monday is the Distance Track Day. Please come ready to run either 800 or 1200m.  5. ADST - Stopmotion. We will be working on our stopmotion movies next Wed/Thurs next week. Please make sure you have your materials at the school so that we don't waste our class time!
